Privacy
What this website collects, why, and what it never collects. This is a draft summary; the website operator’s approved privacy notice should replace it before launch.
The short version
- This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Measurement counts a small number of actions anonymously. It never includes what you write in a form.
- If you send an enquiry, your details are used to respond to that enquiry.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry, your name, email address, organisation and message go to the person who handles that type of enquiry. They are used to respond to you. Nothing you write is added to analytics or shared beyond the email service that delivers the message.
The form does not accept attachments. If further material would help, an appropriate way to share it can be agreed during the conversation.
Subscription
Subscribing is separate from sending an enquiry. If you subscribe, your email address is held by the mailing service and used to send new writing. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Measurement
The website counts a small set of actions to understand which material is useful:
- when a reader reaches the end of an article and has spent time with it
- views of the Selected Work page and engagement profiles
- clicks to related material at the end of an article
- clicks through to the ventures’ own websites
- requests for speaking information, such as opening Media and Resources or copying a biography
- when the enquiry form is started, and when an enquiry is received (by enquiry type only)
- new subscriptions
These counts are stored without cookies, IP addresses, browser details or any identifier, so they cannot be linked to you. Form content is never included.
